Sometimes you can suggest a movie. Others, you might strongly recommend. And once in a while? You have to buy it, mail it, and say "T-Bone Burnett produced this, watch it!"
Sometimes: "All good things come to those who wait." Sometimes: "If a food persists in his folly, he becomes wise." In my case, it is the latter sometimes. This song Weary Heart is great! Makes me want to watch the movie even more and as luck would have it, I have it.
TQ: I know you've got that busy summer schedule to work around, but maybe in between the parties and therapy?
Kelly: I remember you sent one of the Jeff Bridges songs, but I couldn't find any of them on the music site. I'm considering buying the soundtrack, though - I was quite impressed, myself. Invite my mom over - she hasn't seen it yet, either. Netflix is always telling me that YOU'RE the most compatible to me, but...(casting surprise: Collin Farrell as the country singer?).
Colleen, The song I sent was sung by Jeff Bridges in the movie, and again as a duet with Colin Farrell. I was shocked too. He sings a few songs, and is pretty good. The one that really reminds me of my dad that I sent you is called, Flying and Falling.

I bought this movie too. Totally reminds me of my dad, especially the song, Falling and Flying.
ReplyDeleteShane and I are going to watch it together soon. He hasn't seen it yet.
